According to Sportico.com, the Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Red Wings will remain on Bally Sports Detroit through at least the 2024-25 seasons after Diamond Sports Group reached an agreement with the National Hockey League and National Basketball Association teams.
The teams included on the basketball side that DSG will continue to feature on its network will be the Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs.
The NHL team includes the Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Like the NBA clubs, the deal with the NHL runs through the end of the 2024-25 seasons.
Comcast users are still rejoicing over the return of the Detroit Tigers to Comcast in July after the two sides failed to agree on a new deal in May.
