The Detroit Pistons have announced their 2024-25 regular season schedule, which will begin with a game against the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena.

Home highlights of the 2024-25 schedule include Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics visiting Little Caesars Arena on Oct. 26, and LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 4.

Steph Curry, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors will visit Detroit on January 9, while Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks will come to town on January 31.

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets will make their only trip to Little Caesars Arena on Feb. 28, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren with the Oklahoma City Thunder will make their only visit to Detroit on March 15.

The Pistons will also participate in the NBA’s second annual in-season tournament, now called the Emirates NBA Cup.

Each team will play four group games (two home, two away), which will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from November 12 to December 3. In group play, the Pistons will host the Miami Heat on November 12 and the Milwaukee Bucks on December 3 inside Little Caesars Arena.

Eight teams will advance from the group stages to the knockout stages, which will consist of single-elimination games in the quarterfinals (played in NBA teams’ markets on Tuesday, December 10 and Wednesday, December 11), semifinals and championship games (played in Las Vegas on December 14 and 17, respectively).

This season’s theme nights include Hoops for Troops, Breast Health Awareness Night in partnership with Henry Ford Health, Holiday Game presented by Kroger, Women’s Empowerment Night presented by Ally, First Responders Night presented by BELFOR and more.

The Pistons are celebrating the “Season of Giving” presented by Kroger beginning with the Nov. 25 game against the Toronto Raptors and continuing through the New Year’s Eve game against the Orlando Magic.

Black History Month will be celebrated at every home game in February, including HBCU/NPHC Night supported by Huntington Bank on February 7.

The team will host its annual Kids Day game on Feb. 2 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, 313 Day presented by Ally on March 13, Pride Night presented by Allegiant Air on March 28 and Fan Appreciation Day on April 11 presented by Hutch’s Jewelry. The Pistons will also host special bobblehead giveaways on Jan. 18, Jan. 31 and March 15.

The Pistons are scheduled to be on national television three times during the regular season. ESPN will televise the team’s home game against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

NBA TV will broadcast a home game against the Charlotte Hornets on November 21 at 7 p.m. and an away game against the Utah Jazz on March 3 at 9:30 p.m. A complete local radio and television broadcast schedule for Pistons games will be released at a later date.

A full promotional calendar will be released in early October.
