THE The Chicago Bulls The Bulls have been blessed with some top-tier dunkers throughout their history. From Michael Jordan to Derrick Rose to Zach LaVine, listing the greatest slams ever made in a Bulls uniform is no easy feat. But that hasn’t stopped the organization from giving it a shot.
Ahead of the 2024-25 regular season, the Chicago Bulls have released a ranking of their Top 10 Dunks of All TimeAnd the summary is just as enjoyable as you’d hope.
Look at it:
Were the Chicago Bulls right?
All things considered, I think the Bulls have made a very solid roster. All the obvious choices were taken, including Rose beating Goran Dragic, Michael Jordan finally getting Dikembe Mutombo, and Joakim Noah embarrassing Paul Pierce. The number 1 dunk on the list is also impossible to argue with. Scottie Pippen’s one-handed dunk on Ewing is not only one of the most disrespectful dunks in franchise history, it’s one of the best in NBA history!
The only real complaint about Jordan is the placement of a few iconic moments. While Jordan looked to be in great shape in his #2 ranked dunk against the Charlotte Hornets, I would probably trade it for his #4 ranked baseline slam over the Knicks. I also think Rose’s nasty finish over Joel Anthony (#10) is higher. This is probably my favorite Rose dunk. I think he does a great job of showing how agile and explosive he was for his size. Not only does he get into the paint perfectly, but he effortlessly adjusts in mid-air over the big man. In my opinion, it ranks above LaVine’s 360 dunk.
Looking at all these memorable moments made me think of a few honorable mentions, so I’ll wrap them up by leaving them below. Rose’s one handed alley-oop The game against the Atlanta Hawks probably missed the cut. I still can’t believe a point guard did that!
Poster by Lauri Markkanen about Nikola Vucevic is also a song that has been lost in time but certainly sounds remarkable today!
Derrick Jones Jr.’s career in Chicago may not be remembered for long, but his dunk against the Nuggets deserves to be remembered. The man jumped from inside the court. free throw line DURING a game!
Finally, I have to give credit to Nate “The Great” Robinson. The one-year-old prodigy was known for his breathtaking ability to jump just 5’9”, and he gave Bulls fans a game to remember against Portland.
