After recording their fifth consecutive victory Friday against the Chicago Bulls, the Milwaukee Bucks have now returned to second place in the Eastern Conference with a 40-21 record.
With three quarters of the regular season already over, the Bucks have established themselves as one of the best teams in the East. The problem is that their schedule it only gets harder from now on. Milwaukee is expected to face plenty of teams above .500 in its remaining 21 games, making it a tough home stretch for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co.
Doc Rivers speaks out on Milwaukee Bucks’ tough schedule

Head coach Doc Rivers was recently asked to comment on his team’s upcoming streak. When asked if he would rather have an easy or difficult schedule to finish the season, the former NBA champion was brutally honest in his response:
“I’d rather finish the season having everything figured out a month in advance,” he said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “That’s what I’d rather have, but It’s not going to happen. You know, it’s funny, I just want to close out the season healthy, number one. And then we understand how we have to play to win matches.

As Rivers said, the perfect scenario would be to have everything in order by April. However, even he knows that this is almost impossible.
As such, the starting coach will simply focus on making sure his team is ready for what lies ahead. There’s no point in thinking about things they can’t control. The best thing to do, as he said, is to prepare for what’s coming.
The Bucks are still far from a perfect team and they now have 21 games to try to get as close as possible before the playoffs begin.
