
The Phoenix Suns (38-28) take on the Charlotte Hornets (17-49) on Friday, airing on Arizona’s Family (Ch. 3) and NBA TV at 4 p.m.
This is the third of a four-game road trip for the Suns, and the second in back-to-back games after being routed by the Boston Celtics. Phoenix has won five of its last 11 games since February’s All-Star break.
Charlotte is coming off a win at Memphis on Wednesday, having collected just three wins in its last 10.
Phoenix is seventh in the Western Conference standings and Charlotte 13th in the East.

Suns-Hornets starting lineups
The Suns start Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in the backcourt, forwards Grayson Allen and Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic in the middle.
The Hornets open with Vasilije Micic, Tre Mann, forwards Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges and center Nick Richards.
Injury report: Suns’ Gordon returns
Phoenix’s regular sixth man, Eric Gordon (left knee bruise), was moved from probable to available after missing the last two games. Gordon has seen a decline in shooting lately, but he is Phoenix’s fifth-leading scorer (12 points per game) and third behind Grayson Allen and Kevin Durant in 3-point shooting percentage (38%).
Other Suns listed on their injury report include Josh Okogie (lower abdominal strain) and Damion Lee, who are both still out.
The Hornets have ruled out LaMelo Ball (right ankle), Seth Curry (right ankle), Cody Martin (left ankle), Bryce McGowens (right knee) and Mark Williams (lower back).
