THE Philadelphia 76ers will continue their 4-game road trip Friday when they travel to Southern California to take on the the Los Angeles Lakers. The Sixers will look to bounce back after a tough loss to the Phoenix Suns to begin the journey.
Once again, the Sixers will have to fight through injuries. Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus intervention), De’Anthony Melton (bony stress of the lumbar spine), and Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise) are all listed as out against the Lakers. Philadelphia will continue to rely on others to step up and produce.
Tobias Harris, who missed the previous three games, is listed as questionable due to a sprained right ankle. If Harris can’t go, Nic Batum will continue to get the minutes in his place.
Injury report for tomorrow against the Lakers:
OUT: Joel Embiid (left knee meniscus procedure), De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine bone stress), Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise)
