Milwaukee Bucks superstar and sports card enthusiast Giannis Antetokounmpo recently placed a bid for the Topps NOW 1/1 autograph triple card that features LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant of Team USA.
Topps revealed on Instagram that Giannis Antetokounmpo recently bid $150,000 on an IG Stories post to purchase the Topps NOW 1/1 Triple Autograph Card featuring Team USA’s Big Three.

The offer for the Milwaukee Bucks star forward is part of a series of high-value offerings from top collectors since the card’s launch shortly after Team USA defeated France in the men’s basketball final at the Paris Olympics.
Topps unveiled the unique basketball card on August 10, noting that it is the brand’s first card to feature a James autograph and the inaugural triple autograph of Curry, James and Durant.
Big auctions for the Big Three
Geoff Wilson, founder of Sports Card Investor, was the first to bid, offering $100,000 in cash and a VIP experience. Ken Goldin, founder of Goldin Auctions, countered with a $150,000 non-refundable cash advance and the first lot in an upcoming auction.
Wilson’s updated bid offered $250,000, with the condition that the card be consigned to the Holy Grails auction by Fanatics Collect and Sotheby’s on September 23-24.
Grand Slam Collectibles has finally surpassed all previous bids with a bid of $500,000. The condition for this bid is that all three signatures on the card receive PSA 10 or BGS 10 grades.
Earlier this month, Topps announced that the triple autograph would be awarded to someone who purchased the Topps NOW James-Curry-Durant card. The base card, originally sold for $11.99, set a record with a mintage of 588,035, the highest ever for a Topps NOW card.
This release marks the first card to feature James, Curry and Durant togetherand also includes James’ first Topps autograph.

Clay Luraschi, Topps senior vice president of product, discussed the importance of the map with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
“This card honors the incredible moment we saw during the Olympics, where three of the greatest active basketball players teamed up to win the gold medal. This card in particular is special because you have the regular version and then you have the autograph version. There have been many different autograph cards throughout the history of basketball trading cards, but this is the first time all three of these players have signed the same card. So it’s very unique,” Luraschi said.
James, who had signed exclusively with Upper Deck since joining the NBA, joined Fanatics last year. His first autograph under the new deal was a Bowman U Chrome Superfractor 1/1 Dual Autograph featuring both him and his son, Bronny James.
At the Paris Games, James, Curry and Durant stood out as the top three American players. They averaged 42.8 points per game together. James led the team with 8.5 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game. Durant shot 52.0 percent from three-point range and Curry made 17 of 27 three-pointers in the semifinals and finals.
Giannis Antetokounmpo first showed off his card collection in 2020, posting a video of his cards, which he later deleted. He later shared cards of teammates Bobby Portis and Donte DiVincenzo at a press conference.
