The rebuilding Spurs are already eliminated from the playoffs with a 14-50 record that ranks as the worst in the West and third-worst in the NBA. Wemanyama, who leads the team with 20.7 points and 10.3 rebounds, is still considered an everyday player due to an ankle injury that kept him out of Saturday’s game against the Warriors. The 7-foot-4 center’s unique talents have proven themselves worthy franchise building blocks, as he adds 41.3 percent 3-point shooting to his arsenal.
