The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors face off at Chase Center on Saturday night.

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are in poor form having lost seven of their last nine games overall and they are hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after being painfully disappointed by the Kings in a 131-129 away loss THURSDAY. Devin Vassell led the team with 30 points and nine assists, Malaki Branham added 23 points coming off the bench while Zach Collins and Keldon Johnson scored 22 points each. As a team, the Spurs shot 50 percent from the field and 16 of 34 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to claw their way back from a 20-point deficit to lead by five points with just 52 seconds left. before the Kings closed the game on a 7-0 run to take the game away from them in the end.

Warriors of the Golden State

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors are in great form as they have won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to bounce back here after being beaten by the Bulls in a 125-122 loss on Thursday. Klay Thompson led the team with 25 points coming off the bench, Jonathan Kuminga added 19 points with 10 rebounds while Stephen Curry chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 45 percent from the field and 11 of 42 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 13-point lead to lead by 12 in the third quarter, which proved simply too difficult to overcome despite a late rally.

San Antonio vs. Golden State Free Prediction

The Spurs have already ruled out Victor Wembenyama for this one, while the Warriors will miss Stephen Curry here. The Spurs haven’t been able to get anything going lately, but they were more than competitive in their narrow loss to the Kings on Thursday, while the Warriors were on fire before being stopped in their tracks by the Bulls in a tough defeat in their last outing. The Warriors are missing their leader in this one, but they’re in great shape and I think they can take care of business against this shorthanded Spurs team.
