Jontay Porter of the Toronto Raptors is under investigation by the NBA. The inspection comes in light of massive irregularity in its prop betting over the past few games. The Raptors’ recent game against the Sacramento Kings saw Porter leave the court for 3 minutes (illness). Likewise, Porter played 4 minutes in the January 26 game against the Clippers (eye injury). The NBA is investigating and scrutinizing Porter’s growing tendency to fall prey to prop betting.
The NBA aims to investigate whether Porter had a direct connection to any of the bets involved in the two games. With the former Memphis Grizzlies player considered out of the lineup, another example of his potential scandalous past is coming to light.
