French striker Guerschon Yabusele joins the team 76ers after his exceptional performance at the Paris Olympics.

The 28-year-old has agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million minimum contract with the Sixers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Yabusele returns to the Eastern Conference after leaving the Boston Celtics for Real Madrid in 2019. He was originally the Celtics’ 16th overall pick in 2016.

Yabusele led France in scoring at the Olympics, averaging 14 points and 3.3 rebounds, while shooting 52 percent from the field. In the quarterfinal loss to Canada, he scored 22 points to lead France to the semifinals.

He entered France’s starting eleven after the struggles of Rudy Gobert and Evan Fournier.

Yabusele had one year left on his contract with Euroleague club Real Madrid and his contract was bought out for $2.5 million.
