Aleksa Avramovic has been one of Serbia’s most promising players at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This has led to the NBA showing interest in Avramovic from the Atlanta Hawks and LA Clippers.
The 6-foot-3 player reportedly has an NBA contract with CSKA Moscow. There is a buyout, to which the NBA could contribute up to $850,000 for this season. Avramovic plans to travel to Russia next week before starting preparations for next season.
Avramovic will be 30 when the NBA season begins in late October. At the Olympics, he averaged 10.5 points on 53.3 percent shooting from the field and 36.8 percent from three-point range.
The Serbian veteran spent the last three seasons at Partizan. Last season, he averaged 10.3 points on 48.6 percent shooting.
