THE Houston Rockets (28-35) and Kings of Sacramento (36-26) see you on Sunday. Tipoff from the Golden 1 Center is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sports Betting lines around the Rockets vs. Kings odds and make sure our expert NBA picks and predictions.
Series of the season: the Rockets lead 2-0
The Rockets had early problems against the Portland Trail Blazers, but Houston was able to outscore Portland 68-44 in the 2nd half to come away with a 123-107 victory and the cover as a 6.5 point favorite Friday. It was Houston’s 5th straight coverage, and the Over (220) scored for the Rockets’ 2nd straight game after a 5-0-1 stretch against the Under from February 23-March 5.
The Kings, who were 12-point favorites, barely edged past the San Antonio Spurs with a 131-129 home win Thursday as the Over (235.5) conceded. VS Domantas Saboniswho had 31 points, scored the go-ahead dunk with 7.7 seconds remaining, and the Kings won for the 3rd time in 4 games.
Houston is 2-0 ATS against Sacramento this season, and the Over/Under (O/U) has gone 1-1. The Rockets won 122-97 in the last meeting on November 6, with the Over (217.5) being conceded at the Toyota Center.

Rockets picks and predictions at Kings
Prediction
Kings 125, Rockets 115
Money line
The Kings (-275) are unlikely to lose to Houston for a third straight time this season. However, I cannot recommend risking $275 to win $100.
PASS. Place the points and/or bet the total instead.
Against the spread
I have no interest in betting on Houston at this location. He trailed by as many as 12 in Portland and should have a tough time playing a close game against the Kings with double revenge on the mind.
The Kings are 3-1 in a row in their last 4 games, and while winning by 2 points when favored by 12 isn’t an impressive performance, they are 4-1 against the gap in their last 5 games after failing to cover the previous timeout. In other words, they bounce back in the next game after failing to live up to expectations.
PARI LES KINGS -6.5 (-110).
More less
The Over scored in back-to-back games for both teams, and while it’s a small sample size, I just can’t imagine either team playing great defense on Sunday.
Sacramento has allowed 120 or more in 10 of its last 16 games, and Houston gave up 63 first-half points to the lowly Trail Blazers last time out.
BET OVER 233.5 (-110).
