Two teams that fell out of the NBA playoffs will meet Friday night at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers will miss Christian Wood, one of their big men, for some time after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Tuesday.
They provided no time frame for Wood’s recovery from the procedure, which was performed at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. But the injury appears very likely to sideline Wood, out since Feb. 14, at least for the rest of the regular season.
