While much of the focus for the San Antonio Spurs next season will be on Victor Wembanyama and how he will fit more comfortably within the team’s offense, there is one key piece outside of him that also brings plenty of intrigue.
Stephon Castle has a lot of talent, but he also has a strong mentor in Chris Paul, and depending on how the season goes, he could grow exponentially both under and alongside him.

The Spurs’ success won’t just depend on Castle’s ability to lead the point guard, but it will certainly help their cause in the Western Conference, especially if this ends up being a taste of what’s to come in the Castle era in San Antonio. Paul may well be the biggest catalyst for that.
