Increase, child! The Indiana Pacers League G group has renamed.
The Pacers introduced on Wednesday that their Gague G group will probably be referred to as the Increase de Nobleville – the nickname being a nod to the longtime coach of the Pacers and the Slick Leonard broadcaster, the notorious slogan of “Increase, Child!”
The increase will begin to play subsequent season in Nobleville, a suburb of Indianapolis.
“We’re delighted to denounce an interesting new period for our G League group, the Increase de Nobleville, whereas honoring the heritage and the worldwide energy of the Indiana Pacers model,” stated Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports activities & Leisure.
Leonard was enrolled within the basketball famend temple as a coach in 2014. He performed seven seasons within the NBA, then educated the Pacers at three ABA championships and eventually turned a broadcaster.
