Tyrese Haliburton spent his summer with the NBA stars on Team USA. The Indiana Pacers point guard won a gold medal with the team, and he was able to learn a lot from his teammates in the United States.

He’s now back home. He spent some time in Indianapolis and attended a few Indiana Fever games. He recently returned to Wisconsin. That’s Haliburton’s home state, he was born and raised in Oshkosh.

Haliburton recently held a basketball camp in Oshkosh. He also spoke with reporters, including Justin Marville of the Oshkosh NorthwestIn that conversation, Haliburton detailed some of his conversations with Team USA stars, including some of the recruiting he did for the Pacers.

“I recruited pretty much every member of this team,” Haliburton told reporters with a laugh. “If anybody wants to join us in Indiana, I’m all for it.”

The American stars have had a close bond for years. Bam Adebayo and Damian Lillard, for example, grew closer on Team USA, which played a role in Lillard’s hopes of being traded to the Miami Heat last summer. according to reports.

“There will probably be [be] “It’s something that comes out of it,” Haliburton said when asked if any Team USA stars would make the team. “I’ve been recruited, for sure, but I’m not going anywhere.”

Haliburton told Marville he had formed a strong bond with the group. He said he recently exchanged text messages with Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry as the two grew closer. They were two of the best shooters on Team USA.
