THE Golden State Warriors fans will be excited to know that their talisman and best player, Stephen Curry, will be playing against the Chicago Bulls tonight.

The Warriors will play the second of back-to-back games at Chase Center. Curry hasn’t missed a game since Jan. 13 and has been in exceptional shape as of late.

Curry contributed 29 points, five assists and eight rebounds in the Warriors’ last matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, which Dub Nation won 125-90.

Jonathan Kuminga, who contributed 20 points, was one of the Warriors’ main sources of offensive inspiration.

What happened to Stephen Curry?

Curry injured his knee during the game against the Boston Celtics, a matchup that ended in a disappointing loss for his team. He played just over 16 minutes, during which he produced only 4 points and 3 assists.

As a result, fans were wondering if the two-time NBA MVP would be available against the Bucks. However, with Steph seemingly back to his best, he should play a starring role against the Chicago Bulls, who are currently on a two-game winning streak.

Steph Curry Stats vs. Chicago Bulls

Curry faced the Bulls 26 times in his career and averaged 22.9 points, 5.8 assists and 5.1 rebounds. The traditionally strong Golden State Warriors and Curry’s own exploits led to an 18-8 record against the Bulls.

The two teams also faced each other once this season, with the Warriors finishing victorious. Steph scored 27 points and nearly had a double-double, with 9 assists and 5 rebounds.

He converted 6 of his 15 3-point attempts in the matchup, which isn’t his best but still extremely impressive. The Warriors hope to play a similar role against the Bulls in the next game.

Stephen Curry is crucial for Warriors against Bulls

So far this season, the Warriors have been pretty inconsistent. They had constant problems and even suffered an embarrassing loss against the Boston Celtics (122-88). The Warriors responded with a dominant victory over the Bucks, thanks to Curry.

There’s no doubt that Dub Nation’s offense is entirely dependent on Curry, even if Jonathan Kuminga and Green Draymond also played their role.

The Warriors decided to start Klay Thompson off the bench against the Bucks, a move that might as well stand for now, given the five-time All-Star’s inconsistent form of late.

Therefore, even though the Warriors are the majority favorites for this matchup, a lot will depend on what kind of day Curry ends up having.
