Q: Ira, I think this time of year is interesting because we can think about anything and Erik Spoelstra isn’t there to tell us, “That’s not what matters.” So before they get back to work, maybe Bam Adebayo should come back and say he wants to play power forward? – Tomas.

A: First, Bam Adebayo doesn’t want to dictate how he’s used. He just wants to play. It wasn’t Jimmy Butler who said a few years ago that he wasn’t going to play power forward (even though he ended up doing that in several rotations at times). What Bam should want, and I think he does want, is the opportunity to expand his game further, and I think that could present itself, with more three-point shooting opportunities, especially if Kel’el Ware finds a spot in the rotation.
