Resurfaced in the NBA, Isaiah Thomas should join the Phoenix Suns on a ten-day contract throughout the 2023-24 regular season. End a passage with Charlotte Frelonshis last league appearance was during the 2021-22 regular season.

Thomas, 35, on his way to sign a ten-day contract with the Suns was reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic SATURDAY.

Determined to return to the NBA, the two-time All-Star joined the Salt Lake City Stars in the G League. In four appearances over the past two weeks, he has averaged 32.5 points per game behind 40.7% from the field and 44.6% from beyond the arc. En route to a second stint with the Suns, his efforts with the Stars also resulted in 5.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Labeled as championship contenders, the Suns are fighting for a direct ticket to the 2024 Playoffs. At 39-28, they rank sixth in the Western Conference, the lowest place guaranteeing a spot in the Playoffs.
