Dwayne The Rock Johnson showed no love towards the Memphis Grizzlies by calling out their star player, Ja Morant, calling him embarrassing while he used his name to denigrate Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on WWE SmackDown, and now Morant had his say.
The wrestler-turned-actor is beefing up his presence as he prepares for a controversial return alongside Roman rule in April at WrestleMania, and he did it on SmackDown while performing a song.
During this song intended for Rhodes and Rollinshe said to the latter: “You are simply a nuisance, my son. Just like Jacques Morant when he waves a gun.
This is of course a reference to Morant is suspended for 25 games by the NBA for brandishing a gun in a strip club and a fake in a car, he was later criticized for a bizarre celebration in which he appeared to fire a gun into the crowd during of a match.
Although The rock pointed out that he was joking when he added: “I love you Ja!”, it’s not clear how Morant could have reacted to the dissent.
But he did respond, and he did so while wondering in disbelief why he had been dragged into this debacle when an X.com account, formerly Twitter, said he “was here to catch stray animals.”
It was something Morant echoed, saying, “Why did he say ‘F**k me’?!”, accompanied by a GIF of 50 Cent looking offended.
