JALEN Brunson has received a positive assessment of his injury after limping during Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Brunson benefited from a small group season in New York and averages 27.2 points per game.
Knicks fans feared the worst after the “scary moment” as the guard left the game on his team’s first possession.
Brunson hit the deck after a jump shot attempt, where he tripped and fell on the 3-point line.
It appears the 27-year-old bumped knees with the Knicks center. Isaiah Hartenstein earlier in possession.
He was helped by court doctors and headed straight to the locker room.
Coach Tom Thibodeau confirmed after the game – which the Knicks won 107-98 – that Brunson had a bruised knee.
“Any time someone goes down like that, you’re worried,” Thibodeau said, according to ESPN.
“Then he felt a little better, he had x-rays, he was examined by the doctors and so the news is good.

“It’s a bruised knee and everything was negative so we’ll see where he is [Monday]”.
Brunson joined the Knicks in 2022 as a free agent.
He signed a four-year, $102 million contract with the franchise and became an All-Star for the first time earlier this season.
Brunson was the 33rd overall pick in 2018 NBA Draft for the Dallas Mavericks.
He is averaging 47.7 shots from the field this season, along with 27.2 points per game and 6.6 assists.
