For some reason there was an error assumption The players in the early decades of the NBA were untalented players, with far less talent than those in today’s NBA. And while it’s true that the way the game is played today might be difficult for players from that era to adapt to, one could argue otherwise in the absence of evidence.

But we are not entirely without evidence, given that there is movie players from the league’s early decades who clearly show how skilled, fast-paced and complex the league was at that time.

A great example is the piece of Boston Celtics legend Bob Cousythe Hall of Fame point guard known as the “Houdini of Hardwood” for his difficult passing and court vision.
