The LA Clippers currently don’t have any roster spots available, but it’s possible the team could make at least one more trade before training camp begins.
This was announced on Thursday by Shams Charania of The Athletic The Clippers signed former Orlando Magic guard Kevon Harris to a training camp contract. Without a roster spot, the Clippers can’t offer Harris a direct path to a standard contract, but he could compete for their only remaining two-way roster spot.
Harris has played just 36 career NBA games since making his debut for Orlando in 2022, but the 6-foot-5 point guard has 80 games of G League experience.

In 80 G League regular-season games, Harris averaged 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds.
The Clippers still have some roster decisions to make, including their guard collection. As it stands, the starting guards are expected to be James Harden and Terance Mann, which leaves Norman Powell, Kris Dunn, Kevin Porter Jr. and Bones Hyland as the standard guards on the bench.
Guards currently on the Clippers roster (including reported signings):
James Harden
Terance Mann
Norman Powell
Russell Westbrook
Hyland Bones
Kevin Porter Jr.
Kris DunnIt seems like one or two exchanges are inevitable.

Russell Westbrook was traded earlier this summer, but in a sign-and-trade deal that brought back Dunn, leaving the Clippers with the same number of guards.
If Harris finds himself with the opportunity to compete for a roster spot, the Clippers will not only have to free one up, but likely do so by sending a guard.
