This week, as the start of training camp slowly approaches, the The Los Angeles Lakers have started making some minor roster moves in order to field a full roster once training camp begins.
They goalkeeper signed Jordan Goodwinwho spent the last three seasons in the NBA with the Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies, to an Exhibit 10 contract. On Wednesday, they brought Six-foot-nine winger Vincent Valerio-Bodon, who played on their summer league team in July, signed a similar deal, only to give it up on Thursday.
On Thursday night, the Lakers announced that they had signed Alex Fudge, presumably to another Exhibit 10 contract.
Fudge, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound forward, was signed by Los Angeles as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Florida last summer. He played mostly in the G League last season, but also had a few stints with the Lakers in four games and also played two games for the Dallas Mavericks.
He will give the Lakers another young player to develop as part of their new focus on developing young prospects.
