To say that Boston Celtics Hall of Fame Legend Larry Bird To say he had some incredibly decisive plays throughout his epic Celtics career is a criminal understatement. But The Hick of French Lick There were several in particular that will leave even a casual fan speechless all these years after the former Indiana State star retired as a player.
One such example is the play at the end of Game 5 of the 1987 Eastern Conference Finals. Bird stole the ball from Detroit Pistons Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, allowing Boston to score a last-second layup and win the series in seven games.
