Miami heat guard Tyler Herro has been designated as questionable for the team’s next game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday. The Heat are looking to avenge their 117-109 loss on Dec. 31 in what will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams.

Tyler missed the last three outings where the Heat went 2-1, including ending their five-game winning streak against the defending champion Denver Nuggets on Thursday.

The Heat, however, played remarkably well in their previous six games going 5-1. During that span, the Miami Heat posted a +9.9 net rating, with an offensive rating of 114.8 and a defensive rating of 104.9.

Tyler Herro Injury Update

Herro’s availability for the next game remains in question with the team closely monitoring his condition each day. An official update on his status is expected after the morning photo session, reflecting the team’s cautious approach to his preparation.

Results of an MRI of Herro’s hyperextended left knee showed no significant injuries, pointing to a likely early return to the field for the goalkeeper.

The Miami Heat are dealing with several injuries heading into their Saturday game against the Utah Jazz. Haywood Highsmith (left knee effusion), Kevin Love (heel) and Caleb Martin (left thumb sprain) are all listed as questionable.

What happened to Tyler Herro?

Before the All-Star break, Tyler Herro was limited to appearing in just 36 of the Miami Heat’s 58 games due to several health issues.

His time on the field was significantly reduced in November when he injured his ankle. After his return, a shoulder problem and migraines sidelined him again, causing him to miss two more games.

On February 23, at a pivotal moment in the match against Pelicans, Tyler had an accident. While maneuvering the ball up the field under intense defensive pressure, he accidentally slipped. This caused his left knee to hyperextend when he lost possession of the ball. Visibly in pain, he clutched his knee and remained on the ground, visibly troubled.
