NEW DELHI: LeBron James led the charge for the the Los Angeles Lakers as they scored a crushing 116-104 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder Monday evening. James demonstrated all his talent, contributing 19 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to propel the Lakers to their impressive victory.
D’Angelo Russell delivered an exceptional performance for the Lakers, scoring 26 points while draining five 3-pointers. Anthony Davis provided valuable support with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Austin Reaves scored 16 points to bolster the Lakers’ offensive effort.

The win marked a milestone for the Lakers, as they improved to 10-4 since their road triumph over the Boston Celtics at the beginning of February. Tying a season high, the Lakers climbed five games above .500, going 34-29.
Despite the Thunder’s strong start, which allowed them to take an early 13-2 lead, the Lakers rallied to tie the score at 25 at the end of the first quarter. Los Angeles took control in the second quarter, taking a 10-point lead before entering the half with a 52-43 advantage, despite committing 12 turnovers in the first half.
Continuing their momentum, the Lakers increased their lead in the third quarter, establishing a sizable 17-point advantage before entering the final period with an 89-72 lead.
In the fourth quarter, the Lakers continued to dominate, increasing their lead to 20 points at 97-77 thanks to a 3-point basket by Russell. Russell’s hot shooting continued, as he knocked down three straight 3-pointers to extend the Lakers’ lead to 103-79 with just over nine minutes left.
With this victory, the Lakers secured the season series against the Thunder, winning three of their four clashes. The Thunder, despite their valiant efforts, suffered only their second loss in their last nine games, as the Lakers demonstrated their strength and depth to pull off an impressive victory on their home court.
