Lil Wayne Clears Up Security Confrontation at Los Angeles Lakers Game

Lil Wayne was unable to witness a thrilling overtime victory for the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night (Feb. 29), as Weezy never made it to his courtside seats due to a dispute with Crypto security. com Arena.

Shortly after the security confrontation, the Young Money boss expressed his frustration on X where he claimed to have been “treated like shit”.

Wayne speculated that the mistreatment may have been related to his criticism of Lakers star Anthony Davis earlier this season during a UNDISPUTED appearance.

“Wow! I was treated like shit at the Laker game earlier, but I thought they would do that to me sooner or later, either because of what I said about A.D. , or just because they don’t know what I received from them too. so it’s okay, I understand,” he wrote. “Fk em. Images have emerged of confrontation thanks to TMZ and Wayne didn’t seem to want anything to do with the argument, so he and his team quickly left the field area through the arena tunnel.

Unfortunately, Wayne and friends missed a big game as the Lakeshow ended up defeating the lowly Washington Wizards – who didn’t win a game in the entire month of February – in overtime by a score of 134-131. Hopefully the New Orleans rapper’s beloved Lakers can make up for it during his next trip to Crypto.com Arena.
