Wemby enjoys a relaxing time in Costa Rica.
SAN ANTONIO — After winning silver with Team France at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs is kicking back and relaxing in Costa Rica.
Wemby visited several Costa Rican restaurants and was kind enough to take pictures with the staff.
He visited a restaurant in the Pacific mountains of Costa Rica, sporting a new hairstyle with twisted braids.
He then visited Mestizo Uvita, and the staff were happy to show him around their establishment.
“What pride! Today we had the honor of welcoming Wemby, NBA player par excellence, to Mestizo Tradition and Fusion. Thank you for choosing us!! It fills us with joy to know that our traditions and flavors are appreciated by sports stars,” posted Mestizo Uvia.
Wemby will need all the rest he can get with Spurs training camp ahead of him.
The 2023-24 Rookie of the Year should have a terrific second season as he looks to help the Spurs emerge from their rebuild.
