Christian Wood is returning from a 50-game season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He finished the season averaging 6.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 30.7 percent from three-point range.
This summer, Wood activated his player option, so he will return to the Lakers for the 2024-25 season.

On Saturday, Wood posted a message on his Instagram a story with a bold message.
Wood wrote: “I’m back, y’all…and I’ll be back next season with a vengeance.”
Lakers fans will probably like Wood’s message, as he can be a very valuable player for their team.
In eight seasons, he has career averages of 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from three-point range in 339 games.
In addition to the Lakers, Wood has also spent time with the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans.
The Lakers finished last season in seventh place in the Western Conference with a 47-35 record.
They lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
