Luka Doncic received a crucial injury update ahead of the Dallas Mavericks’ game Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers.
THE Dallas Mavericks will welcome the Indiana Pacers Tuesday evening in a match that promises to be a competitive affair. The Mavericks (34-27) and Pacers (34-28) have almost identical records heading into the contest. Indiana beat Dallas the last time the teams met on Feb. 25, so the Mavs are looking to bounce back. Luka Doncichowever, is facing an injury problem.
Doncic has been dealing with injury issues in recent games. Mavs head coach Jason Kidd talked about it Luka’s toughness throughout the 2023-24 season. That being said, Dallas will still approach the situation with caution.

Luka Doncic’s injury status against the Pacers
Doncic is currently listed as questionable with a sprained right ankle, via the NBA injury Report.
The Mavs are obviously hoping Luka can play against this talented Pacers team. Dallas has lost four of its last five games after winning seven straight. They would love to win the final two games of their current homestand against the Pacers and Miami Heat.
The availability of Luka Doncic, however, will go a long way in determining the outcome of both matches.
Monday in training, Jason Kidd addressed the Mavericks game against the Pacers. Indiana’s offense, led by superstar Tyrese Haliburton, will test the Mavericks’ defense.
“Offensively, they’re among the best,” Kidd said of the Pacers. “Haliburton is playing at a high level, (Myles) Turner is playing well. Once again, the transition defense will be put to the test. Our defense will be put to the test.
“And then offensively, we have to prepare for Rick (Carlisle) to team up with (Kyrie Irving) and Luka. And other guys can step up and make shots.
Tuesday’s match should be exciting. Both teams will look to their stars to lead the way, but whichever team gets the most help from their depth could end up emerging victorious.
When it comes to whether Luka Doncic plays tonight against the Pacers, the answer is uncertain at the moment.
