(LEARFIELD) – The Bucks’ trade for Gary Trent Jr. is widely considered the Eastern Conference’s best trade of the offseason. The bulk of the work was signing a special talent like Trent to an NBA minimum contract. He’ll take Malik Beasley’s place on the team, providing just as much offense and a better defensive presence. Trent has averaged over 16 points per game over the past four NBA seasons, shooting over 38 percent from three-point range. He keeps the Bucks in the playoff race, provided stars like Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Lillard stay healthy.
