What there is to know
After playing yesterday, the Los Angeles Clippers will hit the road to take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. ET on March 4 at Fiserv Forum. The Bucks are favored, but considering the odds didn’t stop the Clippers in their last game, perhaps the team has another surprise up its sleeve.
The Timberwolves usually have all the answers at home, but on Sunday the Clippers proved too difficult a challenge. They dodged a bullet and finished off the Timberwolves 89-88. Despite the victory, it was the fewest points the Clippers had scored all year.
The Clippers can attribute much of their success to Norman Powell, who went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 0 assists, and Kawhi Leonard, who scored 32 points as well as five rebounds and two steals. Leonard continues to roll, beating his previous point total in each of the last three games he has played. James Harden’s dreadful 0-6 three-point shooting was less helpful for the Clippers.
Meanwhile, the Bucks entered Friday’s game with four straight wins (a stretch in which they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and came away with even more momentum. They earned a comfortable 113-97 victory over Chicago.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was as usual, with a double-double with 46 points and 16 rebounds.
The victory makes it the second in a row for Los Angeles and brings its season record to 39-20. As for Milwaukee, they have performed well recently as they have won seven of their last nine meetings, which has given a nice improvement to their record of 40-21 this season.
Fans are expected to witness an exciting matchup on Monday as both teams are currently among the most successful teams in the league. The Clippers have had no problem running up the score this season, averaging 117.4 points per game. However, it’s not like the Bucks (currently ranked second in scoring) are struggling in this department as they are averaging 121.5 points per game. With both teams so easily able to rack up points, the only question that remains is who can run up the score.
The Clippers and Bucks have pleased fans and bettors in their last few games by winning and covering the spread. Looking ahead, the Bucks are the favorites in this one, as experts expect to see them win by five points. They might be worth an early bet since they’ve covered the spread the last five times they’ve played.

Oddsmakers had a good idea of the line for this one, as the game opened with the Bucks as 4.5-point favorites.
