DETROIT – The Motor City Cruise, a G League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, will host a one-day, two-session open tryout for Metro Detroit Hoopers players.

Testing will take place on Saturday, September 14 at the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center in the 6201 block of Second Avenue.

Hoopers who register will have the opportunity to compete for an invite to Cruise’s training camp starting in October.

Players who embark on the adventure can showcase their talents through NBA-level drills and games in front of the Detroit Pistons and Motor City Cruise Basketball Operations staff.

Trial spaces are limited and the deadline to register is Friday, September 13 at 5 p.m.

The Cruise begins its fourth season of professional basketball in the heart of Midtown Detroit.

The team will begin its 24 home games in November at Wayne State Fieldhouse, located on the campus of Wayne State University.
