The Chicago Bulls and the Indiana Pacers faced off on Wednesday night, and the game went down to the wire. Following a huge block from Pascal Siakam, all seemed lost for the Bulls, but a missed rebound from Obi Toppin gave them a chance to tie the game with seconds left in regulation.

That’s when DeMar DeRozan made his presence known. The veteran winger collected the ball inside, rose to mid-range and made the equalizing shot on TJ McConnell as time expired. Chicago ended up winning in overtime and DeRozan finished the game with 46 points.

After the game, Pacers big man Myles Turner shared his thoughts on DeRozan and Indiana’s lack of defensive pressure.

“Our defense just wasn’t good enough,” Turner said via ESPN. “DeRozan hit some big shots, special player. But overall, I don’t think we were there, just that last part. At this time of year, there are no excuses. You have to find a way to make it happen.

The Bulls earned a 132-129 road victory, while the Pacers had their two-game winning streak snapped.
