Carmelo Anthony is one of the greatest players in NBA history.
Additionally, he is one of the most accomplished basketball players on Team USA (he won three gold medals in 2008, 2012 and 2016).
Team USA won its fifth consecutive gold medal last week, and recently, Anthony spoke about what the team will look like in 2028 when the Olympics take place in Los Angeles (via 7PM Brooklyn).
Anthony spoke about the possibility of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant making the roster.
He also made reference to how iconic a Morant Team USA jersey would be (comparing it to Allen Iverson).
Anthony: “You still got Ja. People totally forgot about Ja… That Ja USA jersey. It’s like the AI USA jersey. I would love to see Ja, Ant, Tatum. I would love to see Ja get another opportunity.”
