OKC Thunder ML (+116)

Giannis Antetokounmpo more than 0.5 made threes (+136)
Parlay same game odds: +551
OKC Thunder ML (+116)
Oklahoma City will rely on its health to beat the Milwaukee Bucks on the road tonight. The Bucks currently have Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton on the injury report. There’s a chance they both play, but their hamstring and ankle injuries mean they won’t be 100% here. In games played without Giannis, Milwaukee is just 3-2 SU this season.
This is great news for a hungry Thunder team that has 6 wins in 7 games against Eastern Conference opponents. They are also 7-1 SU in their last 8 games overall and 4-1 SU in their last 5 on the road. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is also building his MVP case, if the Thunder can secure the number one seed it would certainly help his campaign. Despite being on a 5-game home winning streak, the Bucks have been unconvincing in games played at Fiserv Forum this season, going just 16-19 ATS. I think the Thunder are worth the gamble as a road underdog here.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will score more than 30 points (-150)
SGA always plays well against Damian Lillard – in the last 3 meetings he averaged 35.3 points per game, the last time they faced each other he finished with 44 points. Going from Holiday to Lillard was a big defensive downgrade for Milwaukee and opposing guards punished them throughout the season. Milwaukee allows the 7th most points per game to opposing point guards and the 11th to shooters. Since the All-Star Game, SGA has scored 30 points 11 times in 15 games played. He also crossed this line twice in 3 meetings with the Bucks, from the moment when Milwaukee still had Holiday to defend him. Once this issue is resolved, I think SGA will have a big game here, further strengthening its case for the regular season MVP award.
Giannis Antetokounmpo more than 0.5 made threes (+136)
The hamstring injury Giannis is dealing with is a concern here, but it shouldn’t have an effect on his three-point shooting. In fact, it might even be a positive from a shot selection standpoint. The biggest issue facing this type of injury is explosiveness, so Antetokounmpo will settle for more jump shots instead of getting the ball to the basket. His threes have been really solid over the last 11 games with an efficiency of 47.6% and 0.9 threes per game. He’s only managed to cross that line three times in those 11 games, and with that kind of consistency, we’re getting a very solid +136 rating for him to only make one shot here. The last time he faced the Thunder, he went 4-for-4 from distance, he also made a three at least once in 7 of the last 10 head-to-head meetings. OKC also finds itself in the bottom 15 in opponent three-point efficiency in away games, so I’m confident Giannis will make one here.
