THE NBA the playoffs are almost here. Less than a month remains in the regular season, with the playoffs scheduled to begin on April 16 with the Play-In tournament. The playoffs will begin on April 20. Although it seems likely that we know the 20 NBA teams who will qualify for the playoffs, there are a lot of things to decide in the final weeks of the regular season. Rankings, home field advantage and the chance to avoid the Play-In tournament are all on the line between now and April 14.
So, what’s the latest news when it comes to the NBA playoffs? After defeating the New Orleans Pelicans Thursday evening, Magic of Orlando moved the Knicks to fourth place in the East. As for the Pelicans, they remain the fifth seed in the West, but they are holding their organizational breath while awaiting the results. Brandon Ingram MRI. Also taking a step forward on Thursday, the Dallas Mavericks are the new No. 6 seed in the West after beating the Jazz and the kings suffered a disastrous loss for Wizards.
As a reminder, the NBA Play-In tournament will determine the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in the two conferences. Four teams from each conference (seeds 7-10) will participate in the Play-In tournament, while the top six seeds will automatically qualify for playoff spots. The seventh and eighth seeded teams will compete for the No. 7 seed. The ninth and tenth ranked teams will face each other in another match, then the loser of #7/#1. Match #8 will face the winner of match #9/#. 10th match for the No. 8 seed.
