After experiencing difficulties throughout last season, particularly on the road, the Warriors of the Golden State thrive on the road during the 2023-24 season. After starting their road trip with two wins, the Warriors picked up another victory on Friday against the Toronto Raptors for their eighth straight road victory.
After scoring a game-high 31 points Thursday night against the Knicks, Steph Curry picked up where he left off in the back-to-back game against the Raptors on Friday. Curry had a game-high 25 points with seven 3-pointers, six rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes.
In the Warriors’ 120-105 win over the Raptors, Jonathan Kuminga continued his breakout campaign, scoring 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field with six rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes.
After the Warriors’ eighth straight victory outside Chase Center, the NBA community on Twitter reacted. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying Friday night.

The Warriors arrived in Toronto early Friday morning, took a nap for most of the first quarter, got going in the third quarter and battled their way to a 120-105 victory. Move to 9th place, 1 point on the Lakers. Five above .500 for the first time this season.

The best I’ve felt about the Warriors’ chemistry and connection on the court in a fairly large sample size since they won it all in 2022. Obviously you have to continue to play well to even get into the playoffs, but you have to love these last few weeks of ball. Kuminga rises quickly. MIP 2023/2024 ????

“We could have found any excuse possible to go out and lay down tonight, but we have a lot of guys who aren’t built like that.” – @CP3 pic.twitter.com/v5wJGMW5X0

Props to CP3, he actually respects the rhythm of the dubs and even plays catch fairly consistently since his return.
It’s safe to say that the current minute volume suits him and the team better.

The Warriors are 1.5 games out of 8th, 2.0 games out of 7th and 3.0 games out of 5th in the West.

The Warriors are playing their best hoops streak in two seasons.
Again, I don’t think they should fear a Western team.

Klay Thompson said he slept from about 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. “It’s good enough. It’s good enough. You want eight, but sometimes you have to do whatever it takes.”
NBA players are like us.
