THE Brooklyn Nets The Blue Bombers didn’t have the 2023-24 season they were hoping for, as the team missed the entire postseason, falling short of their goal of returning to the playoffs. While Brooklyn had a disappointing season by those standards, it’s good to know that there were still some nice plays that happened along the way.
With just a few weeks to go until the start of the 2024-25 NBA season, the NBA has put together some of the best plays of the 2023-24 campaign. These plays range from tough shots to great defensive plays and everything in between to give a glimpse of the talent in the Association.
On Tuesday, the NBA posted on its “X” account the plays that have been reduced from 80 to 61, as the league releases all plays in sequential order ahead of the upcoming season. Nets from last season is on the list: backup point guard Dennis Smith Jr. and reserve shooting rear Lonnie Walker IV. It should be noted that while Smith could theoretically return to play for the Nets, Walker has already signed with the Boston Celtics.
At 77, Smith appears in the highlight reel as he received a screen from center Day’Ron Sharpe to go downhill before ultimately going over the top. Portland Trail Blazers center Duo Reath. It was not only one of the Nets’ best plays last season, but it was also one of the best plays in the entire league, showing just how much people loved to see Smith fly through the air the way he did.
At 62 years old, Walker was able to show why he is one of the most talented scorers in the league with his unique combination of athleticism and ability to finish at the rim. Well, in his game against the Boston Celtics, Walker showed everything that makes him the scorer he is in what was an incredible finish in traffic.
