Several NBA stars were on hand for recently retired Goran Dragic’s “Night of the Dragon” game in Slovenia on Sunday. Slovenian sensation Luka Doncic Dallas Mavericks and the league title Nikola Jokic, MVP were two of the names in attendance for Dragic’s celebration, which also included former NBA legends like Chris Bosh.
Doncic and Jokic have long been known to have a friendly relationship despite being arguably the two best players in the NBA, and this camaraderie The festivities continued this weekend, as the duo could be seen sharing several lighthearted moments with each other, according to RP Salao of Larry Brown Sports.
At one point, Jokic poured water on Doncic while the two were on the bench.
The two players were also teammates during the game and made some fun plays on the court, including an attempted fast break (which actually looked more like a slow break) in which neither player seemed to actually want to shoot the basketball.
Jokic also hit an alley oop off the backboard and finished with a dunk, something he almost never does in the NBA.
While Doncic and Jokic may be two of the fiercest on-court competitors in the NBA, Saturday’s game was a reminder that they both have a lighter side, too.

In addition to the names mentioned above, other players in attendance included Dirk Nowitzki, Nikola Vicevic, Boban Marjanovic, Robin Lopez and Bogdan Bogdanovic, among others.
Meanwhile, Goran Dragic enjoyed a highly successful NBA career that included stints with the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat, whom he helped lead to the NBA Finals during the 2020 NBA Bubble season.
Regardless, the impact Dragic had on his time in the NBA was felt Saturday.
