The NBA suspended Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin for one sport after he made contact and verbally abused a sport official. Indiana loses to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday eveningthe league introduced Wednesday.

Mathurin will serve his suspension Thursday and might return Saturday when the Pacers host the Philadelphia 76ers.
