INDIANAPOLIS – Pacers Sports & Entertainment and the Marcus Graham Project (MGP) announce the continuation of their partnership for the third consecutive year and, for the first time, this workshop will focus primarily on a WNBA team – the Indiana Fever.

The immersive workshop, which will take place May 28-31, 2024, aims to provide future Hoosier professionals with a unique hands-on experience and exposure to the sports and entertainment industry. This initiative will allow participants to network with PS&E management and staff, and collaborate on projects focused on customer experience, digital media, marketing, etc., while benefiting from mentoring and insights precious.

For the first time in this three-year partnership, the experience will focus on the Indiana Fever, allowing attendees to see a professional women’s team and experience first-hand the growing excitement surrounding women’s sports, particularly basketball -ball.

“MGP is successfully creating the two-way street needed to continue building a stronger, more diverse workforce in the sports and entertainment industry, and we are proud to once again partner with them to providing this experience to Indiana’s talented young professionals,” said Rick Fusion, PS&E Executive Director. “I am particularly excited for these participants to discover the excitement surrounding women’s sport and the impact its evolution has on our business.”

As one of the NBA Foundation’s first grantees, MGP continues to foster economic empowerment and career advancement within Black communities. While emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in the partnership, Larry Yarrell II, co-founder and chief development officer of MGP, said, “This workshop, the first to focus on a WNBA team , is an indication that the organization and community are engaged. to eliminate barriers for minority talent.

In addition to project-based learning and networking opportunities, one outstanding participant will be selected to attend MGP’s iCR8 Summer BootCamp located in Los Angeles.
