PHOENIX — The final set of notes for the upcoming NBA 2K25 have been revealed — and with it, the latest Phoenix Suns representative has been mentioned ahead of the game’s Sept. 6 release.
Kevin Durant earned an official overall rating of 94, tying him with Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers for ninth in the game.

The 94 overall rating is significantly lower than his traditional ranking, and he’s behind Jayson Tatum/LeBron James/Stephen Curry in the overall hierarchy, but it’s nonetheless remarkable that Durant is still among the NBA’s elite at nearly 36 years old.
Durant averaged 27.1 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game over 75 games in 2023-24, while being one of the most important players on the gold medal-winning U.S. team at the 2024 Olympics.
He enters the season with immense pressure to deliver a first-ever title to Phoenix and validate his legacy in the NBA world – he may very well be able to do so if his surrounding core is as good as the game’s developers believe.
Durant joins Devin Booker, who earned a 93, and Bradley Beal, who earned an 85 last week. Tyus Jones and Jusuf Nurkic would also join the top quartile of the roster with 80 overall grades.
Incoming rookies Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro received overall grades of 70/68, respectively, but they don’t appear to be consistent power brokers within coach Mike Budenholzer’s rotation this season.
The Suns open the season in Los Angeles on October 23, facing the Lakers and Clippers in the first week of the season.
