The Indiana Pacers’ surprising run to the Eastern Conference Finals is a taste of what to expect from the team’s most dynamic duo, Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, in the years to come. Remember, Haliburton and Siakam only played the last half of the season together. There’s a good chance the best is yet to come from this duo together. In that short span, Haliburton and Siakam seemed to complement each other on the court. Add to that the fact that Haliburton never really looked his best in the second half of the season, and Pacers fans should be even more excited about this year.
If there’s any concern about this duo, the question is whether Siakam will be able to continue playing at a high level going forward. The good news is that while he suffered some regression early in the season with the Toronto Raptors, Siakam has been back in form since being traded to Indiana.
In theory, the Haliburton-Siakam duo should be one of the best in the Eastern Conference this season.
