No Coby yet tonight, which means even more running for Ayo Dosunmu as the team’s leader, which I’m looking forward to. On Saturday night, Ayo scored a career-high 34 points. He has the chance to have a very solid game against a bad and out of shape Portland team. I hope to see him enjoy this moment again tonight like he did on Saturday. He shot well, he drove to the basket aggressively and he distributed efficiently. His and Coby’s growth this season has been very encouraging for the future.
After back-to-back games, Vooch took advantage of a little Wizards lineup Saturday night and got back on track. It’s a tough match tonight against Deandre Ayton. It’s been a bit of an eventful March for Vooch, it seems like we either have the really good scorer and efficient passer, or the guy who can’t shoot and just floats aimlessly. The Bulls will need a little more consistency from him because when he is at his best, the offense is really dangerous. I’m very intrigued to see how he attacks the match against Ayton.
No Jerami Grant or Malcolm Brogdon for Portland tonight. This is already a struggling team, and now they find themselves without two of their best players. These are the types of games, similar to Saturday night, that the Bulls need to come out and control from start to finish.
