The NBA has officially released the 2024-25 regular season schedule for the association’s 30 teams and, as for the List of 82 matches for this motivation of redemption Memphis Grizzlies team, it is obvious that some months are going to be easier than others.
With players like Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane back on the team and teaming up with key and promising talents like Marcus Smart, GG Jackson, Vince Williams Jr. and Zach Edey, hopes are high among the franchise’s loyal fans that this team can find a way to reestablish itself as a top threat in the highly competitive Western Conference standings.
Of course, throughout their seven months of action, certain periods are bound to see more success than others, and there is a clear hierarchy in how their playing schedules break down.
Unsurprisingly, the easiest monthly period for the Grizzlies is also the shortest.
On October 23, Memphis will begin the 2024-25 NBA regular season and will play just six games before the calendar finally turns to November.
While the reduced number of outings certainly plays a role in why October is shaping up to be the least stressful month, what also factors into this particular ranking is the fact that they’ll find themselves facing just two teams during that span that were above .500 last season (Orlando Magic on Oct. 26 and Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 31).
Along with that, they’ll play four of their games in front of a familiar crowd at FedEx Forum, giving them home-field advantage for the majority of the time and, most importantly, when playing against the aforementioned winning teams from 2023-24.
