In a season that has left the Raptors and their fans with little to smile about, Gradey Dick is at least helping to brighten the day for many.

Dick and his Orlando Magic counterpart, Anthony Black, were chatting after Sunday night’s game when the two decided to participate in a traditional show of respect: a jersey swap.
Black quickly went to get a team photographer, then swapped shirts with Dick and the duo posed for a quick photo.

It was clear that both players were in on it, with Black swapping places with Dick to make the meme perfect.
It didn’t take long for social media to explode.
“They understood the mission,” one speaker said.

For what it’s worth, Dick has demonstrated a very outgoing personality, with the former Kansas star showing up to the NBA draft in a ruby red suit, referencing Dorothy’s slippers from The Wizard of Oz.
His choice of the number 1 to accompany his unique last name also made many people laugh on social media.
However, the Magic didn’t seem to find the jersey swap as funny as the others. After seeing the attention it was getting, Orlando’s social media team deleted X’s post, according to TMZ.
The game itself wasn’t very eventful, with the visiting Magic scoring a 111-96 victory, sending the Raptors to a seventh straight loss.
Dick started and played 27 minutes for the Raptors, scoring 10 points and collecting an assist.
Black, the sixth overall pick in the 2023 draft, played just three minutes, scoring two points.
Next up for the Raptors is a home game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. But, looking at their roster, don’t expect any viral jersey swaps at the end of this contest.
