Federer reunites with Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors

Roger Federer visited Steph Curry, head coach Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors on Saturday when he met with the team at practice before watching their NBA game against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Swiss star hugged the team and posed for photos at the Chase Center, before making his mark on the court, scoring a perfect four out of four during the hoops shootout. Federer, titled at level 103 of the circuit, has fond memories with Curry, having also met the basketball player during the Shanghai Rolex Masters in 2017.

Federer was visiting Chase Center following Thursday’s announcement that an 18,000-seat stadium would host the eighth edition of the tournament. Wash Cup in 2025.
The Chase Center, currently home of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, was opened in 2019 and is used for a variety of sporting and entertainment events on the West Coast of the United States. The 2025 Wash Cup will take place from September 19 to 21.
